Mammoth Mountain in California has suspended operations at this time following an inbounds avalanche that caught two ski patrollers previous to opening. Each ski patrollers have been injured. Our ideas are with the victims at the moment. Learn Mammoth Mountain’s assertion beneath:

At roughly 7:30AM (previous to Ski Space operations) on Friday, December 26, Mammoth Mountain Ski Patrol was performing avalanche mitigation work when an avalanche occurred on Lincoln Mountain.
Two Patrollers have been caught within the slide and have been instantly transported to Mammoth Hospital. One patroller sustained severe accidents and is being transported out of the world for additional care, the second patroller is being evaluated with attainable damaged bones.
Mammoth Mountain acquired over 5 toes of snow since December 23, 2025. The Ski Space will probably be closed for the rest of the day.
