2022 champ Carreno Busta wins Toronto opener

TORONTO — Pablo Carreno Busta, the 2022 Nationwide Financial institution Open champion, opened the match Monday by beating Canadian wild-card entry Liam Draxl 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Carreno Busta gained his first Masters 1000 title when the match was performed in Montreal three years in the past.
