Tennessee is about to host one other 2026 soccer prospect in the summertime.
4-star offensive lineman Deacon Schmitt will formally go to Tennessee on June 20. Schmitt was supplied a scholarship by Tennessee on Dec. 3, 2024.
He scheduled a trio of visits in June, together with to Oklahoma on June 6 and Nebraska on June 13.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pound prospect performs for Windsor Excessive College in Windsor, Colorado. Windsor is east of Fort Collins, Colorado, dwelling of Vols’ offensive lineman Gage Ginther. 247Sports ranks Schmitt because the No. 2 participant in Colorado and the No. 30 offensive lineman within the class of 2026.
Along with Tennessee and Oklahoma, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Vanderbilt are SEC faculties which have supplied Schmitt a scholarship. Colorado State was the primary faculty to supply Schmitt a scholarship on Dec. 11, 2023.
The Vols have eight commitments for 2026: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, large receiver Tyreek King, tight finish Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, large receiver Tyran Evans, defensive lineman Tyson Bacon, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, and defensive lineman CJ Walker.
