Canada’s Félix Auger-Aliassime beat France’s Harold Mayot 7-5, 6-1 within the quarterfinals of the Open Sud de France on Friday.
The third-seeded Auger-Aliassime, from Montreal, recorded a second win in a row towards a participant from France after beating Arthur Cazaux in his first match on the ATP Tour 250 indoor, hard-court occasion
Auger-Aliassime will now face No. 2 seed Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan within the semifinals.
The Canadian has received two of three profession matches towards Bublik.
