I’m driving in reminiscence of the family members I’ve misplaced to gynecological cancers, in honor of my grandmother — a most cancers survivor — and to face up for science. Breakthroughs in therapies and cures solely occur via analysis, and Empire State Experience fuels that progress by funding cutting-edge most cancers science at Roswell Park. I’m excited to be a part of one thing larger than myself, with a neighborhood of people that care deeply, present up for one another, and imagine within the energy of analysis to create a greater future.
That is the primary 12 months in 10 years my PhD mentor, Joyce Ohm, PhD, Chair of the Division of Most cancers Genetics and Genomics, hasn’t performed ESR, so it’s type of ironic that it’s my first 12 months driving!
