After Hockey New Zealand notified the Worldwide Hockey Federation (FIH) of their choice to not take part within the subsequent FIH Hockey Professional League Males’s season regardless of having gained the FIH Hockey Nations Cup final month, FIH has, in accordance with the rules, prolonged an invite to the Nations Cup runners-up, specifically Pakistan, to affix the 2025-26 Professional League version.
The Pakistan Hockey Affiliation has been given a deadline of 12 August to tell FIH of their choice to simply accept or deny the invitation.
The 2024-25 FIH Hockey Professional League topped each Dutch groups, Ladies’s and Males’s, as champions. The upcoming season would be the seventh one of many “League of the Greatest”.
