The Swiss canton of Valais is the most recent to ban them in all indoor public locations. It follows a hearth at a bar within the ski resort of Crans-Montana the place  40 folks had been killed and 116 had been injured. NEW
The canton of Vaud was the primary to outlaw them and was adopted by the canton of Geneva.
Switzerland has 26 cantons.
The blaze at Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana is believed to have began when sparklers connected to champagne bottles set mild to sound-insulating foam padding on the ceiling.
Crans-Montana is within the Valais Canton.

Jacques Moretti is being held in custody for an preliminary interval of 90 days.
