Former three-time winner Novak Djokovic has pulled out of the Madrid Open, starting subsequent week, due to a lingering damage.

The fourth-ranked Djokovic hasn’t competed because the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells. He missed the Miami Open due to a proper shoulder damage and in addition skipped the Monte Carlo Masters.
