Bournemouth signed Portugal defender Antonio Silva from Benfica in a deal price a reported £25 million ($33 million) on Saturday.
Silva is the second new arrival at Bournemouth this week after their swoop for Elche ahead Alvaro Rodriguez.
He’ll fill the hole left by Marcos Senesi after the defender’s transfer to Tottenham on a free switch.

Silva made 235 senior appearances for Benfica and gained six main honours throughout his time in Lisbon.
The 22-year-old has gained 20 caps for Portugal, that includes on the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2024.
He was unnoticed of Portugal’s squad for the latest World Cup in North America.
“I’m very comfortable to be right here. It is a pleasure to play for Bournemouth and within the Premier League,” Silva mentioned.
