Rublev seeks ATP rule change after winning appeal


Andrey Rublev has referred to as on the ATP Tour to alter the rule that led to him being defaulted on the Dubai Tennis Championships final week.

Rublev was defaulted by the chair umpire after a Russian-speaking official stated he had used an obscenity whereas yelling at a line decide over a name throughout his semifinal with Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik on Friday.

In a submit on Instagram, Rublev thanked the appeals committee however stated the principles wanted a rethink.
