Swimming World Champ Siobhan Haughey’s Journey to Success | South China Morning Post

Hong Kong swimmer Siobhan Haughey seems unstoppable. She received two silver medals on the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, and in 2024, gold on the World Aquatics Championships in Doha. Haughey began swimming on the age of 4 and trains 5 to 6 hours a day within the water. She admits that at one level in her profession, she questioned whether or not all the hassle was price it. On this episode of Hearken to Her, Haughey returns to go to her secondary college and swimming membership. To mark Worldwide Ladies’s Day, she opens up about her childhood in Hong Kong and the way she turned a task mannequin for women and girls throughout generations.
