Undertaker acknowledged the emotional battle of bidding farewell to his wrestling profession, expressing that whereas he recognised the need of his departure, the void left by the absence of in-ring performances has been profound. He revealed:
I knew my time had come, however I wasn’t prepared for it to return. I simply knew that my physique couldn’t ship on what my thoughts and my coronary heart needed to offer the followers.
