Britain’s Jack Draper is into the third ATP remaining of his profession – and the primary on grass – after breezing previous unseeded American Brandon Nakashima on the Stuttgart Open.
The 22-year-old sixth seed, who beat defending champion Frances Tiafoe, of the USA, within the quarter-finals, hit 13 aces and 35 winners in a 6-3 6-3 victory.
Draper will meet former Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini in Sunday’s remaining.
The 28-year-old Italian took simply 65 minutes to safe a 6-4 6-0 victory over compatriot Lorenzo Musetti, the fifth seed, in Saturday’s second semi-final.
On going through Draper for the primary time, Berrettini mentioned: “We by no means even practised collectively so I hope my coach has studied him nicely. He has been serving brilliantly so it will be a match of serving tomorrow.
“Good luck to Jack however I’ll attempt to beat him.”
