Serena Williams' ex-coach shades Jelena Ostapenko over stunning Brisbane meltdown

Serena Williams’ ex-coach Rennae Stubbs questions whether or not Jelena Ostapenko “is aware of what a double bounce is” and remarked that chair umpire Julie Kjendlie will in all probability have a tough time when she will get chosen because the umpire for an Ostapenko match once more.

Stubbs: Does Ostapenko know what a double bounce really is?

Stubbs, who labored with Williams throughout the American’s farewell on the 2022 US Open, wasn’t impressed with Ostapenko’s newest antics.

“Umpire Julie Kjendlie should simply take a look at her schedule when she will get Ostapenko and say ‘oh bloody hell’… critically does she know what a double bounce really is?????” Stubbs wrote on X.

Within the ninth sport of the third set, Azarenka had a bonus on her serve when Ostapenko thought that the ball hit the floor twice and the purpose was robotically over.
