Dan Hurley has agreed to a brand new six-year, $50 million contract extension with UConn that runs by the 29-30 season. Hurley acquired the contract after turning city a six-year, $70 million deal to turn into head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Hurley, who’s coming off back-to-back championships with UConn, has the chance to obtain efficiency incentives all through the contract. In June 2023, Hurley signed a six-year, $32.1 million extension with UConn.
Hurley was employed by UConn in 2018 after a nine-season run teaching St. Benedict’s Prep, adopted by Wagner and Rhode Island.
