Tracy Cortez cuts hair to make weight at UFC Denver

Tracy Cortez took it to the following stage to make weight for her struggle with Rose Namajunas on the Bell Enviornment in Denver, Colo. as she lower her hair.  The athletes competing on the struggle card formally weighed in on Friday in ‘The Mile Excessive Metropolis.’  

The occasion is headlined by a girls’s flyweight bout between former two-time strawweight champion Rose Namajunas and the rising Tracy Cortez.  Namajunas (12-6) enters the struggle ranked sixth within the girls’s 125-pound weight class.  Cortez (11-1) will enter the octagon ranked eleventh.

With a win, Namajunas expects to place herself in title competition and provides herself the chance to grow to be a two-division UFC champion.  Cortez hopes to leapfrog a number of fighters within the division with a win over “Thug.”

Namajunas formally weighed in at 124.75 kilos.  Cortez was the following to final fighter to step on the dimensions.  She weighed 127 clothed and 126.5 after disrobing.  She was given a further hour to chop the half-pound.  Moments later Cortez returned the dimensions, lower off her hair and made the 126-pound restrict.
