Lexis King calls signing with WWE ‘a necessary transition’

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Lexis King spoke on the adjustments concerned with shifting on from AEW to signal with WWE, the place he debuted on NXT final October.

King, who competed in AEW as Brian Pillman Jr., felt the change was vital following the top of his earlier deal, stating:

It wasn’t a lot of a call because it was only a vital transition. I believe my time got here up at AEW, and it was an important, nice run, an important deal financially, I did very properly there. However like I mentioned, simply that form of that self-doubt of not realizing the longer term, not realizing if I’m going for use, or if I’m going to do something? Properly, it was fairly obvious after they didn’t re-sign me that I wasn’t going to be doing something there anymore.

King’s contract with AEW expired final July, following his remaining match for the corporate on February 1, 2023.
