Golf Canada’s 2024 Junior Skills Challenge National Event heads to Credit Valley Golf & Country Club

Mississauga, Ont. – The 2024 Junior Abilities Problem Nationwide Occasion will happen on Saturday, October 5 at Credit score Valley Golf & Nation Membership in Mississauga, Ont.

A complete of 31 golfers from 4 age teams will compete within the fifteenth version of the Junior Abilities Problem Nationwide Occasion, which brings collectively the top-scoring juniors from coast-to-coast.

The taking part junior golfers will compete in a three-part expertise problem (placing, chipping and driving) with one general winner per age group and gender.

Golf Canada, in partnership with COBRA and PUMA Golf, together with the PGA of Canada will host the 2024 Junior Abilities Problem Nationwide Occasion. The occasion is the end result of extra than 1,600 Junior Abilities Problem contributors who competed at 92 qualifying occasions held throughout Canada. The sector is comprised of 31 golfers from throughout Canada, all chosen from the highest of the Junior Abilities Problem Nationwide Leaderboard.

Format

Driving: Every competitor receives three drives. Factors are awarded and depending on distance and intention of the drive. The drive should come to relaxation throughout the 30-yard width to qualify for factors. The variety of factors depends on the distances accomplished.

Chipping: Every competitor receives three photographs. Factors are awarded and depending on the space of the chip from the goal.
