FAN: NFHCA: Temple field hockey joins week five Division I poll, seven teams move up


The most recent Nationwide Discipline Hockey Coaches Affiliation Division I ballot added one new crew to the nationwide listing and noticed seven groups transfer up.

 

The week 5 ballot was revealed Tuesday. The College of Massachusetts-Amherst noticed the best beneficial properties shifting up 4 spots, in response to coaches polled.

 

Along with UMass, the College of California at Berkeley, Syracuse, Duke, Boston School, the College of Connecticut, and College of Michigan all moved up after every week of faculty discipline hockey. Temple is on a five-game successful streak.

 

Previous to the ballot, Michigan was No. 6, however after defeating Large Ten rival No. 4 Ohio State, the Wolverines slid into No. 5. The highest 4 spots have been a lock for every week for North Carolina, Northwestern, Virginia, and Ohio State.

 

In accordance with the NFHCA, “the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I Coaches Ballot is a composite rating of the highest 20 groups with a .500 or higher document within the nation every week. Every Division I crew with an NFHCA member coach is permitted one vote for the rating every week.

 

“Polls are introduced each Tuesday in the course of the discipline hockey taking part in season.

 

The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division I Nationwide Coaches Ballot is voted on by NFHCA member coaches and has no bearing on choice to the NCAA Division I Discipline Hockey Championship.”

 

The next groups acquired probably the most votes solid by NFHCA members. The listing is the rank, crew title, document, and final place held within the prior ballot.

 

Bolded groups have moved place larger or decrease from week-to-week.
