Ball State soccer will host Miami (Ohio) for the Redbird Rivalry in one of many Mid-American Convention’s first midweek MACtion video games of the 2024 season.
The Cardinals (3-5, 2-2 MAC) are coming off a 25-23 upset win over Northern Illinois, whereas the RedHawks (4-4, 3-1) are on a three-game convention successful streak and dominated Central Michigan, 46-7, of their final sport. The convention’s 12 coaches voted Miami because the preseason favourite for the MAC title.
Ball State has misplaced the final 4 Redbird Rivalry matchups and is an underdog for the second week in a row, however the Cardinals are on an upward trajectory as of late. A win would put them firmly in competition for a MAC title sport look, whereas a loss would put them on the verge of lacking a bowl sport for the third season in a row.
