It wasn’t a fantastic search for redshirt sophomore defensive again Jake Pope. Minutes after his Georgia Bulldogs took their second lack of the season, a 28-10 defeat by the hands of No. 16 Ole Miss, Pope was seen celebrating amongst the throng of Ole Miss followers who rushed the sector.
The story behind the second was that Pope ended up working into supporters of Ole Miss offensive lineman Reece McIntyre, a highschool teammate of his. That “reunion” spurred a celebratory response from Pope, who joined in on the leaping and celebrating with the McIntyre crew.
That was caught on video, although, and even with the context, it wasn’t a fantastic second for the younger Bulldog.
