College Football Fan Arrested For Assaulting Cheerleading Coach

An 18-year-old faculty soccer fan has been arrested for assaulting a university soccer cheerleading coach.

Jocelyn Allan, the cheerleading coach at BYU, was assaulted by a fan’s water bottle throughout Saturday’s recreation towards Utah. BYU topped Utah in a final-second win over the weekend. Late within the recreation, Allan was struck by a fan’s water bottle, which had been thrown onto the sector.

Police arrested an 18-year-old Utah fan in reference to the assault this week.

Allan, who has served because the group’s cheerleading coach for 10 years, alleged on her Instagram Story that she was assaulted by a Utah Utes fan.

“On the conclusion of tonight’s BYU/Utah recreation, a Utah fan within the desk seats within the south endzone threw a water bottle and hit me instantly within the head,” Allan wrote in a publish to her Instagram Tales.

“I misplaced consciousness however fortunately was lowered to the bottom by considered one of my cheerleaders. Allan was struck by the water bottle on the finish of the sport.

The College of Utah Police Division has confirmed that William Gardner, 18, has been arrested on charged with assault. The 18-year-old fan isn’t a Utah pupil, based on experiences.

“Gardner is charged with throwing a water bottle onto the sector at Rice-Eccles Stadium that struck a member of the BYU cheerleading group through the Utah-BYU soccer recreation Nov. 9,” the assertion from police mentioned.

The 18-year-old fan was reportedly attending the sport along with his household. He was reportedly sitting in a collection on the stadium when he threw a water bottle. The 18-year-old fan’s father reportedly contacted police to allow them to know that it was his son who threw the water bottle.

BYU topped Utah, 22-21, in a last-second win on Saturday.
