UFC 313 is headlined by a light-weight heavyweight title bout between champion
Alex Pereira and No. 1 contender Magomed Ankalaev. The occasion takes place March 8 at T-Cell Area in Las Vegas.
Pereira (12-2) gained the 205-pound championship at UFC 295 in November 2023 by knocking out Jiri Prochazka for the vacant title. He is defended the belt 3 times, ending every challenger.
Ankalaev (19-1-1, 1 NC) hasn’t misplaced a combat since 2018. He fought Jan Blachowicz for the vacant title at UFC 282 and the bout resulted in a break up draw. After selecting up back-to-back wins for the reason that title, Ankalaev will compete for the championship once more.
