Stanford head soccer coach Troy Taylor has been fired within the wake of a latest report that he revealed he confronted allegations of inappropriate conduct towards feminine athletic division workers on the college.
Former NFL quarterback and Stanford alum Andrew Luck, who’s the overall supervisor of the Cardinal soccer program, issued an announcement on Tuesday asserting that Taylor has been dismissed.
“Since starting my function as Common Supervisor, I’ve been completely assessing your complete Stanford soccer program. It has been clear that sure points of this system want to alter,” Luck wrote. “Moreover, in latest days, there was important consideration to Stanford investigations in earlier years below Coach Taylor.
“After continued consideration it’s evident to me that our program wants a reset. In session with college management I not consider that Coach Taylor is the fitting coach to guide our soccer program. Coach Taylor has been knowledgeable at the moment and the change is efficient instantly.”
