Legendary F1 automotive designer Adrian Newey’s position at Pink Bull is just not set to vary regardless of latest wild rumours surrounding his future.
The Pink Bull chief technical officer’s position stays “unchanged” and after skipping subsequent week’s Australian Grand Prix he’ll return trackside on the Japanese Grand Prix in April, Autosport report.
It comes after ideas emerged that Pink Bull group principal Christian Horner was plotting to push Newey out of F1 amid rising tensions between the pair following the controversy across the former.
Horner was cleared of any wrongdoing forward of the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix after being accused of inappropriate behaviour by a now-suspended feminine colleague.
At first of this week Pink Bull denied ideas that Horner himself could possibly be sacked earlier than the following race in Melbourne.
Since then, new studies have surfaced claiming that Horner desires to maneuver Newey solely onto the RB17 hypercar undertaking, partly on account of considerations referring to the F1 price cap.
