Ranging from 24 July, Montevideo, Uruguay will play host to the Males’s and Ladies’s Pan American Cups 2025 – the Americas’ premier hockey match operating 24 July – 3 August – with the champions punching their tickets to the FIH Hockey World Cup Belgium & Netherlands 2026.
Match Format & Swimming pools
Each males’s and ladies’s tournaments will characteristic 8 groups, cut up into Pool A & B, with the highest two from every pool advancing to semi-finals whereas the underside two groups will play for classifications and world rating factors.
Ladies’s Swimming pools:
Pool A: Argentina, Canada, Paraguay, Uruguay
Pool B: Chile, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, USA
Males’s Swimming pools:
Pool A: Argentina, Brazil, United States, Uruguay
Pool B: Canada, Chile, Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago
Match Schedule
Each tournaments will run in parallel from 24 July to three August.
The boys’s competitors would be the first one to get underway on 24 July with Canada taking over Mexico within the opening contest from the Pool B. The second Pool B match between Chile and Trinidad & Tobago may even be performed later within the day. Pool A matches start the next day with Argentina taking over Brazil within the first match, adopted by United States vs hosts Uruguay later within the day.
Within the ladies’s competitors Pool A motion will start on 24 July with Canada taking over Paraguay within the opener, adopted by Argentina vs Uruguay as the ultimate match of the day. Pool B matches start the next day with Chile vs Trinidad & Tobago beginning us off, adopted by United States taking over Mexico.
The pool phases can be performed from 24 to 29 July adopted by classification and medal matches to be performed from 31 July to three August.
The winner of every competitors will earn a coveted spot on the FIH Hockey World Cup Belgium and Netherlands 2026. If Argentina ladies, who’ve certified by way of the Professional League, win the ladies’s competitors, the silver medalists will safe a spot on the World Cup as a substitute.
