Andre Agassi is dedicated to enjoying the US Open.
The US Open Pickleball Championships this weekend.
Corridor of Famer Agassi, a two-time tennis US Open champion, introduced he’ll make his professional pickleball debut on the US Open Pickleball Championships in Naples, Florida.
Former world No. 1 Aagassi will companion 18-year-old Anna Leigh Waters with their opening match set for Saturday, April thirtieth at midday. The match shall be televised by CBS Sports activities Community.

Agassi, who has beforehand performed pickleball exhibition matches alongside spouse and fellow Corridor of Famer Steffi Graf, advised CNBC he has no plans to pursue a full-time professional pickleball profession. Â
“If I had the luxurious of bandwidth to focus all my vitality on simply enjoying and physique restoration and all that stuff, that may be a pleasure. However I do not,” Agassi advised CNBC. “I am in a distinct season now.”
The 54-year-old Agassi will succeed buddy John McEnroe and take over as Workforce World captain on the 2025 Laver Cup in San Francisco.
His pickleball companion Waters mentioned she scouted Agassi’s recreation earlier than asking him to companion at this weekend’s US Open.
“We each are likely to err on the aggressive aspect, and I feel that works,” Waters mentioned. “Andre’s targets are to develop the game of pickleball, and that is an enormous purpose of mine.
“I assumed if we partnered collectively, this could be a very superior option to develop the game.”
