Anthony, Howard, Bird, Moore, Fowles Enter Hall Of Fame


Carmelo Anthony discovered robust classes coming of age whereas enjoying basketball on playgrounds in Brooklyn and Baltimore.

Strolling onto the stage for his induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Corridor of Fame on Saturday to chants of “Melo! Melo,” Anthony took his place alongside basketball’s immortals.

“Pardon my language, however rattling,” Anthony stated, tearing up. “Tonight, I simply do not step into the Corridor of Fame, I carry the echoes of each voice that ever instructed me I could not. … I needed to construct a brand new street. I needed to write a brand new ending.”

Anthony was a part of a quintet of gamers that was inducted into the Corridor on Saturday as people, becoming a member of Dwight Howard, Sue Hen, Maya Moore and Sylvia Fowles.
