The British endurance swimmer, Sam Farrow, says she is in “full shock” as she is believed to have damaged a world report for being the quickest feminine to swim throughout Lake Geneva in Switzerland. NEW
It took the 31-year previous 2 hours and 48 minutes to constantly swim the size of the lake.
The lake is located on the north aspect of the Alps between France and Switzerland and is 42.5 miles lengthy.

Ms Farrow, whose report is but to be ratified, mentioned: “I don’t assume it’s fairly sunk in but.
“We went on the market to attempt to get the quickest British feminine report and simply in hopes of ending it – I wished to see what I may do.

As some extent of element, the official title for Lake Geneva is definitely Lac Leman, however most check with it as Lake Geneva.
