Fourth-ranked Canada has been drawn to play No. 9 Kazakhstan within the Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers this April, Tennis Canada stated Monday.
The successful group will advance to the eight-team finals in Shenzhen, China, in September.
Host Kazakhstan will select the enjoying floor and venue for the best-of-five April 10-11 tie at a later date.
Two singles matches will likely be performed on the primary day. Doubles will kick off play on the second day, adopted by two singles matches.
Canada earned a berth within the qualifiers by ending atop its group within the 2025 playoffs. Canada gained the ladies’s group event in 2024.
