TOKYO — Canada’s Leylah Fernandez misplaced her second-round girls’s match on the Toray Pan Pacific Open to second-seeded Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan on Thursday.
Rybakina superior to the quarterfinals to face Canadian teenager Victoria Mboko, who saved a match level en path to beating Rybakina in a semifinal of the Nationwide Financial institution Open offered by Rogers in Montreal.
