ROME — Canadian Gabriel Diallo misplaced his opening males’s singles match Thursday on the Italian Open tennis event.
Diallo, of Montreal, dropped a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 determination to American Marcos Giron.
Diallo had extra aces (4 to 2) and a greater first-serve share (70 per cent to 58 per cent) than his opponent. However Giron transformed on two-of-three break makes an attempt whereas Diallo was one-for-two.
