GB’s most profitable skier is coaching onerous forward of the approaching season. The primary slalom races are in Levi, Finland, and Gurgl, Austria, in November. PlanetSKI shall be slopeside in Austria. NEW
Final season Dave got here 4th in Gurgl – only a fraction off a podium place.
Lets hope he can go no less than one place higher and make the rostrum.
The race takes place on November twenty third.
This winter is an Olympic qualifying season with Dave hoping he has what it takes to get to the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
If he can repeat his type of final season we’re in for fairly a journey.
He ended the season in seventh place – his greatest general place.
He’s out on the slopes coaching forward of his sixteenth World Cup season.
The primary indication of type is available in November and PlanetSKI’s James Cove shall be in Gurgl for the second slalom race of the season.

Final winter PlanetSKI caught up with The Rocket on the Schladming evening slalom in Austria.

There are 13 slalom races subsequent season and we are going to in fact be following Dave’s progress.
We may also be following his GB slalom crew mates Billy Main and Laurie Taylor.
At Kitzbuehel final winter all three got here within the Prime Twenty.
