The Dublin Journalists Golf Society vice-captain Peter O’Hehir was delighted to current a cheque of €12,000 to The Purple Door College in Monkstown, Co Dublin following the Society’s current Charity Day on the picturesque Carlow Golf Membership.
After a document sum was raised for suicide bereavement help group HUGG (Therapeutic Untold Grief Teams) by the DJGS in 2024, the determine was surpassed at a memorable day in Carlow GC, one of many nation’s best parkland golf programs.
Vice-captain O’Hehir joined fellow DJGS members and Purple Door College principal Conan Byrne on the faculty for the presentation of the proceeds from the annual occasion.
