All Photographs: Dylan Robinson | Skier: Drew Jolowicz

It’s been a grand begin to winter 2025 for Australia. Hotham Alpine Resort has seen vital storms already, and whereas the mountain solely has half of its 14 complete lifts open, issues are wanting nice contemplating we’re not even near peak season. Many of the Southern Hemisphere normally sees most snow totals round late July and early August, which implies Hotham is forward of schedule.

One other storm not too long ago hit the Aussie mountain oasis, this time dropping practically 20 cm and leaving the mountain in prime situation. Whereas winds have since scoured sure areas, the vast majority of the snow gum-filled terrain was snowboarding effectively. At the very least that’s what we heard from our boots on the bottom—photographer Dylan Robinson and skier Drew Jolowicz.

The pair collected a litany of gorgeous images from the day, with our favorites specified by the gallery beneath.
