Again in March the school soccer world obtained a short shock when Stanford head coach Troy Taylor was all of a sudden fired following an investigation into alleged bullying inside the program. Now, Taylor is trying to get some payback (actually, if he will help it).
On Thursday, Taylor introduced that he will likely be submitting a defamation lawsuit in opposition to ESPN for the community’s position in his March dismissal.
The lawsuit accuses ESPN of pushing a harmful narrative by means of false claims in service to destroying his profession. The March 2025 article in query cited investigations from 2023 and 2024 within the wake of complaints that Taylor bullied feminine workers members.
Again in April, Taylor launched a press release denying the allegations in opposition to him and mentioning that Stanford even admitted that they’d fired him with out trigger.
