Focus on the Back of the Ball

Earlier than you pull the set off and take your swing, the place are you wanting?  On the ball?  Which a part of the ball?  The highest? The entrance?  The aspect? The “T” on the phrase Taylormade?  Does it matter?

I imagine nearly all of golfers would profit from wanting in the back of the ball particularly along with your driver.  Meaning the fitting half of the ball in the event you’re a right-handed participant.  I like to show vary balls to a place the place I can deal with the black line the entire time.

What does this do?  Nicely, at tackle it’s going to encourage a correct backbone tilt.  Your higher physique and head need to be able barely tilted away out of your goal to see the again half of the ball totally and clearly.  That is a part of a correct setup.  At affect, your eyes staying centered on that a part of the ball will preserve your head in place so that you simply don’t get forward or in entrance of the ball (inflicting blocked photographs, pulls or tops).  This tip may also assist “preserve your head down”, that pesky drawback that occurs to so many people.

So the subsequent time you tee it up, deal with the again of the ball whereas transferring your weight onto the entrance leg.  It’s best to really feel extra in management with improved hand-eye coordination.
