Magdalena Frech defeated qualifier Olivia Gadecki 7-6 (5), 6-4 on Sunday (September 15, 2024) to seize her first WTA title on the Guadalajara Open.

Frech grew to become the fourth Polish girl to win a singles title this century becoming a member of Magda Linette, Agnieszka Radwanska and present world No.1 Iga Swiatek.
