Florida State soccer freshman twin line of defense duo Darryll and Mandrell Desir have signed a deal to return to the Seminoles.
The twins initially entered the switch portal earlier this month, however have since reversed course and withdrawn their names from the portal, a day earlier than the portal closes.

Each FSU and the twins spent the final week negotiating a brand new deal for them to return, and whereas the Desir twins formally entered the portal on Wednesday, they’re now set to be again in Tallahassee for the 2026 season.
The duo had been each breakout stars for the Seminoles of their freshman marketing campaign, with Mandrell incomes freshman All-American honors from On3 and the Soccer Writers Affiliation of America.
Mandrell posted 30 whole tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks whereas showing in all 12 of the Seminoles’ video games this season. Darryll was productive with 23 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack in 12 appearances.
