Georgia soccer large receiver Colbie Younger was arrested early Tuesday morning on misdemeanor costs of assault on an unborn youngster and battery.
The Miami switch was arrested by Athens Clarke-County police and booked into the Clarke County Jail at 4:18 a.m. and remained jailed as of 8:30 a.m. Bonds had been set for $2,500.
“It is a pending authorized matter, we can have no additional remark at the moment,” Georgia athletics stated in an announcement to the Athens Banner-Herald.
Younger is tied for fourth on the Bulldogs with 11 catches for 149 yards and tied for second in landing catches with two.
Georgia coach Kirby Sensible dismissed one other large receiver, Rara Thomas, on Aug. 1. following his second home violence arrest.
