LONDON — Italian tennis participant Andrea Rita has been suspended for 15 months as a part of a corruption investigation, the Worldwide Tennis Integrity Company mentioned Friday.
The ITIA mentioned Rita, 23, admitted to 4 breaches of anti-corruption guidelines “together with wagering on tennis matches and the failure to report a corrupt method.”
The breaches happened from 2018-20. Rita was additionally fined $5,000, of which $4,000 was suspended.
