JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jourdan Lewis will miss the rest of the season due to a foot damage that may require surgical procedure.
Lewis was injured throughout the Jaguars’ 34-20 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Fourth-year participant Montaric Brown will seemingly begin reverse Greg Newsome II in Lewis’ place.
Lewis signed a three-year, $30 million contract with $20 million assured with the Jaguars in March. He had two interceptions, a fumble restoration and 39 tackles in 12 video games (seven begins). He additionally missed 4 video games earlier this season due to a neck damage.
