EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Los Angeles Lakers huge man Christian Wooden can be out for no less than two months after present process one other arthroscopic surgical process on his left knee.
Wooden had the unspecified process Monday at UCLA Medical Middle, the Lakers introduced. He can be re-evaluated in about eight weeks, roughly early November.
Wooden missed the ultimate two months of final season after present process an arthroscopic process on his left knee in March.
“I used to be simply feeling like my outdated self once more and was in peak form,” Wooden wrote on social media. “Minor setback for a significant comeback, and to my followers, don’t cease believing in me.”
Wooden is returning to the Lakers this season after choosing up his $3 million participant possibility. He averaged 6.9 factors and 5.1 rebounds in 50 video games final season, his first with Los Angeles.
The Lakers are the eighth NBA crew for Wooden, a Los Angeles-area native. Los Angeles studies to coaching camp later this month and opens the common season Oct. 22 at dwelling towards Minnesota.
