The Andre Dawson Traditional is an annual, round-robin collegiate baseball event designed by Main League Baseball to focus on Traditionally Black Schools and Universities (HBCUs) and their baseball applications.
Persevering with its aim of highlighting the grand custom of Black faculty baseball, the seventeenth iteration of the event (initially often known as the City Invitational) is being hosted this weekend by MLB on the Jackie Robinson Coaching Complicated in Vero Seaside, Fla. It’s that includes seven HBCU applications: Alabama State College, Alabama A&M College, Florida A&M College, Grambling State College, Jackson State College, Prairie View A&M and Southern College. They’re joined by the College of Missouri.
