Brazilian combined martial artist Mauricio Queiroz was dealing with Guilherme Pat at LFA 191 on Friday evening when he did the unthinkable. The 27-year-old fighter from Rio de Janeiro reset his personal badly damaged nostril mid-fight.

Whereas the trouble to avoid wasting the battle and his face from extra injury deserves applause, it didn’t save Queiroz from defeat. Later within the battle Pat would pressure the referee to name a cease to the motion, dropping Queiroz’s skilled MMA report to 4-5.
