Méribel’s Roc de Fer sector is being redeveloped forward of the 24-25 season.
The plans embrace a remodeling of the summit space at 2,294m to boost its attraction to households and teams.
That features the creation of a picnic and chillout space with picnic tables, hammocks and cosy heart-shaped mini cabins
There’ll even be a terrace unfold over 40m2, full with viewpoint indicator and a photograph sales space space with Meribel’s brand.
Franck Bleriot, a well-known French avenue artist, has been commissioned to paint the doorway and inside of the Roc de Fer tunnel.
Offering an immersive expertise for skiers, the tunnel’s paintings design hyperlinks to Méribel’s ski racing previous together with the 1992 Olympics, 2016 and 2022 World Cups and 2023 World Championships.
