Miami head coach Mario Cristobal is not being shy about the kind of participant he believes his now-former quarterback, Cam Ward, might be on the NFL degree.
Ward was super for the Hurricanes in 2024 after transferring from Washington State, and he is considered one of a handful of prospects who may realistically be taken No. 1 total within the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. It is a quarterback-driven league, and he and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders are thought of the highest two on this class.
So far as Cristobal sees it, although, Ward must be the clear No. 1 possibility and No. 1 total decide.
“I feel he must be drafted first total as a result of he’s the perfect competitor and the perfect total participant within the nation,” Cristobal stated on “SportsCenter” on Tuesday (h/t On3). “And his competitiveness, his approach of being, the way in which he impacts the folks round them, he’s second to none. I imply, he’s a man that has modified the profile of our college, elevated all people round him and I simply assume he’s a man that may take a franchise and simply elevate it and all people in it.”
