Former ladies’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate will return to the octagon on Could 3 at UFC Struggle Evening 258 in Des Moines, Iowa. Tate faces former Invicta FC bantamweight titleholder Yana Santos.
Tate made the announcement on Monday through social media. “It is Official: Could third vs @yanamma. I’ve nonetheless acquired what it takes and if you happen to doubt me, please stick round. Mark your calendars,” she wrote on Instagram.

Tate (20-9) final fought in December 2023, defeating Julia Avila through submission. She earned a ‘Efficiency of the Evening’ bonus for her efforts and snapped a two-fight skid. She’ll enter the battle towards Santos ranked No. 10 within the division.
Santos (15-8, 1 NC) will make the stroll to the octagon on Could 3 coming off a choice win over Chelsea Chandler at UFC Vegas 95 final August. With the win over Chandler, Santos rebounded from three consecutive losses. “Cunning” is ranked No. 11 within the ladies’s 135-pound weight class.
The occasion takes place at Wells Fargo Enviornment and can mark the battle promotion’s debut in Des Moines. It is going to be the UFC’s first journey to Iowa since June 2000.
