NYON, Switzerland (AP) — Bayern Munich’s stadium is ready to host one other Champions League ultimate in 2028, and staging the 2029 ultimate is a contest between Wembley Stadium in London and Barcelona’s renovated Camp Nou.
UEFA confirmed Friday the record of bidders from amongst its member associations, suggesting a long-speculated ultimate in New York won’t occur till not less than 2030.
“The declarations of curiosity will not be binding, and the ultimate proposals should be delivered with the bid dossiers by June 10,” UEFA mentioned in an announcement.
Munich hosted the ultimate final season and Wembley staged the earlier ultimate in 2024. Barcelona has not been the ultimate venue since 1999.
