The NBA won’t contemplate shifting the All-Star Recreation from the Los Angeles Clippers’ Intuit Dome amid their investigation into alleged cap circumvention involving Kawhi Leonard. Leonard had a $28 million endorsement contract with Aspiration, an organization with ties to Steve Ballmer and Dennis Wong.
“There is no contemplation of shifting the All-Star Recreation,” Silver mentioned, “and planning for the All-Star Recreation and the encompassing actions are working utterly independently of the continued investigation.”
The NBA awarded the 2026 All-Star Recreation to Intuit Dome in January 2024 earlier than the world even opened forward of the 2024-25 season.
